"maybe she's just pieces of me you've never seen" - Tori Amos

This page is called 'Ankhst' as it deals with the angst that plays a significant role in the lives of so many. In Ancient Egypt the ankh was used as a symbol of life so I felt it appropriate to meld the two words together as my own symbol of the more somber aspects of existence. Below are compiled a list of quotes which can be said to reflect ankhst. They have been selected from some of the songs that I listen to and, over time, I plan to extend this list. I have collated some of the lyrics under their author's name. If you wish to view them, just click on the name. [Over time I plan to do this with the other lyrics.]
