Some
say that I'm ravin' mad while others say I'm just ravin'. That may well
be a matter for eternal debate but that is not the purpose of this page.
So don't start 'quoth'ing at me.
I
intend for this page to provide you with an opportunity to learn about
a few of my favourite things and we're not talking black clothes and gothic
jewellery here - well, maybe we are.
You
can discover the dark truth for yourself by reading on...

It
is not necessarily easy to be dark and depressing - it is not just a case
of shrugging on an assortment of black and saying, "Hey, I'm exuding ankst
now. Look at how woe-begotten I can be." No, it is more than an appearance
of attitude - it is a way of life. Part of this way of life encompasses
listening to the appropriate music. And what could be more appropriate
than listening to The Cure. Use the button
on the left to go to my Cure page.
Happy Rhodes is a talented musician who,
sadly, remains undiscovered by the majority of people. On the other hand
it may be just as well that she remains an elusive being within this reality.
Her lyrics often touch upon the darker aspects of the mind but she also
has a sense of humour which manifests itself. The button on the left will
take you to my Happy page.
It
is well past time that I constructed a page about Neil
Gaiman as his work has had a profound effect on my life. It is
difficult to explain all the reasons why I find Gaiman's work so compelling.
The Sandman comics play a major role in this but they're
not the only reason why. The button on the left will take you to a list
of reasons why I love his work. [Oh, and there's a really cool pic too
- well I think it's cool.] I may even find it necessary to create another
page at a later date, but this is a start.
Change
of pace. Instead
of including a page raving on about one of my favourite things, I thought
I'd do something different and have a rant instead. If you click on the
button to the left, you'll find yourself transported to a page entitled
"Don't You Just Hate...?". It's
about those little things in life that exist to annoy us.
And something a little different again. Click on the button to see some
of my favourite CDs
from the year 2000. A definite Rave. I've even included scans
of the cover art for your viewing pleasure.
